Apart from its numerous golf clubs, there are several points of interest in the suburb of Wheaton. As mentioned above, Wheaton College, a private Christian liberal arts college, has a beautiful scenic campus. Drawing 2,500 undergraduates from all 50 United States, 50 countries, and over 55 church denominations, Wheaton offers 40 majors in the arts and natural sciences.

Again on a more scenic note, the Old DuPage County Courthouse, a Richardsonian Romanesque style court house designed by Mifflin E. Bell in Wheaton, is a beautiful sight. It was constructed in 1896 and housed many important events.

For a change of pace you may find an event at the DuPage County Fairgrounds. Organized in 1954, the DuPage County Fair Association hosts the annual DuPage County Fair in late July.
